Last Updated: May 3, 2025

OnlyPls respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.

This policy describes how to report copyright infringement and how we will respond to such reports.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content available on or through our platform infringes one or more of your copyrights, please immediately notify our Copyright Agent by submitting a written DMCA notice ("Infringement Notice"). An Infringement Notice must include the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., URL of the specific video or content)
  4. Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and an email address
  5. A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

You may submit your Infringement Notice to our designated Copyright Agent by email at:

2. Counter-Notification Procedures

If you believe that your content that was removed (or to which access was disabled) is not infringing, or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner's agent, or pursuant to the law, to upload and use the content, you may send a written counter-notification to our Copyright Agent.

A counter-notification must include the following information:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the content that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the content appeared before it was removed or disabled
  3. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or a misidentification of the content
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where you reside (or, if you reside outside of the United States, the Northern District of California) and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of alleged infringement

If our Copyright Agent receives a counter-notification, we may send a copy of the counter-notification to the original complaining party informing them that we may replace the removed content or cease disabling it in 10 business days. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the content provider or user, the removed content may be replaced or access to it restored in 10 to 14 business days after receipt of the counter-notification, at our sole discretion.

3. Repeat Infringers

It is our policy to terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights of others. We will terminate a user's access to our platform if, under appropriate circumstances, the user is determined to be a repeat infringer.

We reserve the right to decide whether content violates our copyright policy for reasons other than copyright infringement. We may remove such content and/or terminate a user's access for uploading such material in violation of our Terms and Conditions, even if it is a first-time offense.

4. Content Verification Process

At OnlyPls, we take copyright infringement seriously and have implemented a content verification process to help prevent unauthorized content from being uploaded to our platform. This process includes:

  • Automated content recognition technology to identify potentially infringing material
  • Manual review of flagged content by our moderation team
  • Verification requirements for content creators
  • Proactive monitoring of high-risk content categories

Despite these measures, no system is perfect. If you discover infringing content on our platform, please follow the reporting procedures outlined above.

5. False Claims

Misrepresentations in DMCA notices or counter-notifications may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees incurred by us or our users. If you are unsure whether content on our platform infringes your copyright, please consult with an attorney before filing a DMCA notice.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our DMCA Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new DMCA Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this DMCA Policy periodically for any changes.
